This issue is both bug fix/feature request which would help to determine correct Maven coordinates until RichFaces jars are released in public repo / project Wolf. It looks like assembly plugin is collecting multiple bits including their poms and then appends project pom, which is the only one which should be included in the distributed file, IMHO.
