I attach a sample of the problem: 1. Take the attached WAR (RichFaces.war) and deploy it into Tomcat 6 2. Hit /RichFaces/index.jsf and marvel how the progressBar renders correctly 3. Copy the (separately) attached saxon9he.jar into WEB-INF/lib 4. Restart Tomcat 5.
