The problem is caused by a) absolute position of grid b) overflow:hidden of table cells. Therefore any absolute element within table cell gets clipped. -------- No quick fixes found pre-3.1.0. We cannot simply remove overflow:hidden because a)It helps only in FF, In IE calendar is still cut asunder b)It breaks column resize feature
