<a4j:commandLink /> not "fully" disabled (<a> should be
<span>)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-8242
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-8242
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 3.3.2.GA
Environment: Ubuntu Karmic
Firefox 3.5.6
Seam 2.2.0
JSF 1.0
Reporter: Jochen H
Priority: Minor
Hi,
When you use this code:
{code}
<h:commandLink value="#{msg['mailbox.label.deselect']}"
action="#{mailboxManagementBean.deselectAllMessageRecipients}"
style="margin-left:15px" disabled="#{empty
(mailboxManagementBean.selectedMessageRecipients)}"/>
{code}
... and "#{empty (mailboxManagementBean.selectedMessageRecipients)}" returns
"true", the following output is generated:
{code}
<span style="margin-left: 15px;">Alles deselecteren</span>
{code}
When you use this code:
{code}
<a4j:commandLink id="deleteAllLink"
onclick="#{rich:component('deleteMessageRecipientsPanel')}.show()"
disabled="#{empty (mailboxManagementBean.selectedMessageRecipients)}"
style="margin-left:15px">delete all</a4j:commandLink>
{code}
... and "#{empty (mailboxManagementBean.selectedMessageRecipients)}" returns
"true", the following output is generated:
{code}
<a id="deleteAllLink" onclick="return false;"
name="deleteAllLink" href="#">delete all</a>
{code}
This should also be a "span" element. Ok, disabled works because no HTTP request
will be made, but the link is still clickable. I want the same behaviour as a
"h:commandLink".
Can this be confirmed as a bug?
