Finally I think I found the reason and solution.
I think I used a4j:form and a4j:commandButton in the previous page.
So my JavaBean method returns a String containing the address of a completely new JSP
page.
In my case, ajax should not be used when switching to a different page.
Can you validate that this "bug" is real and add it to your wiki?

We've already written on demosite and in the developer guide about navigation.
In your case - it will be usefull to know that if you use ajax command* for navigation -
rule for the outcome should be marked as <redirect/> in faces config.

I use MyFaces for the jsf impl.
If I remove the IE cache.
When I go to a complicated page for the first time.
The different buttons do not work.
Very Often, in the status bar I can read "dowloading http://......
/html/scripts/calendar.js.jsf "
