[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-2851) ODATA POST fails if table column is of IDENTITY type (sql server)
by Ramesh Reddy (JIRA)

Ramesh Reddy commented on TEIID-2851:
-------------------------------------
It is not spec or anything, but to hide details of the source this may need to be supported. Basically I remember this as reading the auto-generated key, which I have skipped at that time to come back, which is eventually catching up.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-2842) Impala/ HIVE2: Unsupported compress file
by Mike LaSpina (JIRA)

Mike LaSpina commented on TEIID-2842:
-------------------------------------
I've been uncompressing files before pulling them into HDFS for a workaround. Ideally, we would like this limitation to be removed. Our Teiid connector depends on the ability to do a describe to read schema.

Hi - I am working with Ivan on this issue. I can confirm that the DESCRIBE FORMATTED also does not work on compressed files using Impala. Queries seems to work fine, but we can not get the schema using describe.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-2851) ODATA POST fails if table column is of IDENTITY type (sql server)
by Alex Khvatov (JIRA)
Alex Khvatov created TEIID-2851:
-----------------------------------
Summary: ODATA POST fails if table column is of IDENTITY type (sql server)
Key: TEIID-2851
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2851

While INSERT into virtual table created from a table that has IDENTITY (autoincrement) feild (in sql server) works if inserted via JDBC, POST to the same table using ODATA fails.
