[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-4183) MSSQL JDBC driver invalidates kerberos ticket on Connection.close()
by Ramesh Reddy (JIRA)
Ramesh Reddy commented on TEIID-4183:
-------------------------------------
Is VDB a Dynamic VDB without DDL inside, and trying to fetch the metadata on deploy? If that is the case this NONE of the pass-through security scenarios work, as at deployment time the user can not be a future logged user. You must either use a VDB with DDL or Designer based VDB.
Also, the correct test be, testing with and without <module-option name="wrapGSSCredential" value="true"/> to validate this JIRA.

> MSSQL JDBC driver invalidate kerberos ticket on Connection.close() (related bugzilla \[1\]).
> If user creates kerberos connection, driver invalidates ticket on closing connection (Connection.close()). Therefore ticket cannot be re-used. EAP team creates a workaround for this by adding module option *wrapGSSCredential=true* with additional setting *credentialLifetime=-1* \[2, 3, 4, 5\]. This works for static kerberos authentication.
> However, passthrough authentication (org.teiid.jboss.PassthroughIdentityLoginModule) does not work, because passed ticket is not managed by EAP but by client.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-4274) FunctionMethods don't set datatypes
by Steven Hawkins (JIRA)
Steven Hawkins created TEIID-4274:
-------------------------------------
Summary: FunctionMethods don't set datatypes
Key: TEIID-4274
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-4274
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Query Engine
Reporter: Steven Hawkins
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Fix For: 9.1
Several methods of adding a FunctionMethod to the metadata do not set the Datatype - which is an issue if DDL is generated, then a NPE is generated.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-4273) With clause used in evaluatable subquery in a fully pushed user query is seen as missing temp table

> A query such as:
> WITH qry_0 as /\*+ no_inline */ (SELECT e2 AS a1, e1 as str FROM pm1.g1 AS t), qry_1 as /\*+ no_inline */ (SELECT 'b' AS a1) select (select a1 || 'a' from qry_1) as x, a1 from qry_0
> where the projected scalar subquery cannot be pushed down, but the rest of the query can will result in the with plan for qry_1 not being associated with the parent RelationalPlan and results in an exception that the temporary table cannot be found. This does not occur if the clause is inlined (9.0+).

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-3685) org.teiid.padSpace does not affect to the "IN" operator
by Steven Hawkins (JIRA)
Steven Hawkins commented on TEIID-3685:
---------------------------------------
Never mind. I see this still occurs on master. The issue is with the clone of a IN predicate - we are reverting it back to a hash set, rather than a tree structure.
