unable to install JBT M3
by Denny Xu
I just download JBoss Tools m3 nightly build from
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/builds/nightly/3.1.0.M3/ and try to
install it
using Eclipse installation wizard: Help > Install New Software and add a
local site for installation, but it failed every time with a lots
of error messages, like the message below:
java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/home/fugang/Download/jbt.updatesite/plugins/org.jboss.tools.xulrunner.initializer_1.0.0.GA-N200909080001-H260.jar
(No such file or directory)
......
the
org.jboss.tools.xulrunner.initializer_1.0.0.GA-N200909080001-H260.jar is
really not there but
org.jboss.tools.xulrunner.initializer_1.0.0.GA-N200909080001-H260.jar.pack.gz
is there any wrong with the steps of installing JBT from a local update
site?
Thanks

Re: [jbosstools-dev] Eclipse driving me mad! Ctrl+space (content assist) is not working unless I have "Caps Lock" on

Didn't work for me, so I've remapped the content assist and added "Alt" to the mix...
Go into Preferences (Window->Preferences) and find the General->Keys page.
Find Content Assist in the list of commands and you can update the key binding. I just set mine to Ctrl+Alt+Space, which is a pain but at least it works and I don't have to Caps Lock.
Not a great workaround for something that should just work out of the box, but a workaround nonetheless.

No, this is in Fedora 11 and Eclipse 3.5. When I joined the Elluminate
session, Ctrl+Alt functionality stopped working as expected. Only when
Caps Lock was on did Ctrl+Alt work for content assist.
