Sounds like something that could be implemented in JIRA as custom workflow. "Review" state should be added in JIRA workflow between "Resolved" and "Open"/"Reopened". Devs after submitting pull request moves it to "Review" (does it possible to provide link to pull request?) and assign to a reviewer. Reviewer can review changes in pull request and apply/merge them then move issue to "Resolved", if something is wrong move it to "Reopened". Not sure if we have rights in JIRA to create and assign new/custom workflow to JBossTools project. WDYT? Assigning JIRAs w/ patches for review

Rob proposed an idea for facilitating tracking of patches for review, using the "review" label in JIRA. Here's how that would work. 1. you work on a JIRA 2. you attach a patch 3. you add the "review" label to the JIRA 4. you assign the JIRA to the correct reviewer (eg., Max, Denis, Len...) When reviewed & approved: 1. reviewer signs their approval in the JIRA 2. reviewer assigns the JIRA back to the person who attached the patch 3. review changes the label from "review" to "review_approved" 4. you then commit the change and mark the JIRA resolved, so that QE can then later mark it resolved when verified. m2e-wtp 0.16.0 has been released!

Hello World, Eclipse m2e-wtp 0.16.0 has been released, just in time for Juno SR1. It requires an Eclipse Java EE distribution, at least m2e 1.1 (though 1.2 is recommended) and can be installed from its p2 update site [1] or the Eclipse Marketplace [2]. This 0.16.0 release, while being primarily focused on bug fixes from the former m2eclipse-wtp version, adds some new features to help you convert your Java EE Eclipse projects to Maven. You will probably want to read the New and Noteworthy [3] and changelog [4]. Please note that, Eclipse m2e-wtp and Sonatype's m2eclipse-wtp overlap and can not be installed together : * if you try to update your Eclipse installation via "Help > Install New Software...", m2e-wtp won't install because of the conflict with m2eclipse-wtp (this is a bug in p2). * if you add the m2e-wtp update site to your list of Available Update Sites, doing "Help > Find Updates" should find m2e-wtp as a suitable replacement for m2eclipse-wtp, and everything should update properly. The safest path to upgrade is to start from a clean Eclipse installation. Finally I'd like to give some kudos to the WTP team from IBM, who was really instrumental with the project migration to eclipse.org and who also provided several patches to m2e-wtp. I'm confident that, together, we'll be able to greatly improve both m2e-wtp and WTP itself. The same announcement was made on the JBoss Tools blog [5]. Hey all: I'm trying to solve the following bug [1] and it requires changes to a file in download.jboss.org folder. For my future knowledge, what are the policies for this process? Basically, I just want to make sure that I never do an rsynch when someone else has only half-complete or not-synchable stuff in there. Ladies and Gentlemen, I was not able to find any sign of this bug on bugs.eclipse.com although I am experiencing it since Eclipse 3.7. Probably, it is Linux or even KDE specific. Does anybody know if it is filed somewhere? Could please anybody try to reproduce it under Gnome, Mac or Windows? Steps to reproduce: (1) File > New > Java Project (2) Open the dropdown menu of any combo box (there are three of them there) either by mouse or keyboard. Close the dropdown menu in any way (focus out, select an item or hit space) (3) Focus the Project Name text field and try to type some character. UNEXPECTED: No char appears in the text field. Reproducible also in other dialogs, e.g. SVN Commit, Git Create Tag, ... Workaround: (i) Paste some text into the text field (use either context menu of the text field or middle-click) (ii) Cut some part of the text in the text field away (select by mouse and context menu > Cut) After (ii) the text field accepts keyboard events again. Note that (i) is necessary only if there is no text in the text field. Thanks, Peter
