ACTION REQUIRED: Code Freeze for 4.2.0.Final / 8.0.0.GA is tomorrow, Thurs Oct 16

Just a reminder, tomorrow is code freeze! Since we're already building from the 4.2.x branch, there's no need to branch further. But you will be required to update your root poms to point at the latest parent pom. Note that the Final target platforms have NOT been released yet so please keep using the Final-SNAPSHOT versions until you see an announcement that the target platforms have been released (and -SNAPSHOT is removed). Planned blogging for Final release

Hey, For the upcoming release I think it would be great if we push out some blogs in the days/weeks after the release to make people aware of New as well as existing features in JBoss Tools/Developer Studio. For now I got the following volunteering to do contribute: Release blog - feature summary/contributor thanks - Max OpenShift - Quickstarts and links to custom cartridges - Andre Thym/Aerogear - Video with Cordova - Gorkem Maven/Central - "I'll come up with something" - Fred AngularJS/JavaScrpit/Thym - "I'll do it" - Denis CordovaSim - Livereload, debugger - Ilya BrowserSim - Standalone, etc. - Konstantin Forge - Forge 2, JPA 2 hibernate - Koen If you have additional suggestions then please let me know, and do know it is *not* a requirement you developed the feature to blog about it - as long as you have something interesting to say it matters. FYI: incubator-ripple moved to jbosstools organization

Heya, For a while we've had our fork of incubator-ripple under https://github.com/ibuziuk/incubator-ripple which was manually built to then get included into cordovasim. We will be looking at doing two things: 1) move the repo to jbosstools so it is together with all the other work we do 2) setup more automatic builds of this. For today #1 is solved, and https://github.com/jbosstools/incubator-ripple exists. For #2 Ilya will follow up on in the following week(s), intent is we got a plan for this by the face-2-face to execute on. /max http://about.me/maxandersen

respin-a will most likely need a TP update
