[jbosside-dev] Fresh integration build coming out of the oven..
by Marshall Culpepper
Hey guys..
There will be an integration build coming within the next hour or so that
will have the following tags:
# cvs tags
core.cvs=IDE_CORE_2_0_0_BETA1
aop.cvs=IDE_AOP_DEVELOPER_1_2_BETA1
as.cvs=IDE_ASBRIDGE_1_0_BETA1
ejb3.cvs=IDE_EJB3_TOOLS_1_1_BETA1
freemarker.cvs=IDE_FREEMARKER_1_0_BETA1
jbpm.cvs=jbpm_gpd_3_0_11
hibernate-tools.cvs=HEAD
cache.cvs=IDE_CACHE_2_0_0_BETA1
tests.cvs=HEAD
# svn tags
drools-ide.svn=http://anonsvn.labs.jboss.com/labs/jbossrules/branches/3.0.x
jbossws.svn=https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/soapui/tags/jbosside-2.0....
I am still waiting on a tag from Max (he's had bad connection problems the
past few days..), and FYI Koen it looks like jBPM Designer is still failing
to build... is the 3.0.11 tag known to be ok?
Everyone else please download and test your component, make sure everything
is working as expected, etc.. you know the drill =). Once we get a fully
"succesful" integration build I'm handing this over to QA for full release.

Marshall,
Use 'jbpm_gpd_3_0_11' for the tag of the jBPM GPD.
Cheers,
Koen

Sorry -- that question should've read "Do you have a SVN tag"
not trunk =).

Hey guys...
It's that time again =). Everyone should send me either
a recent stable tag or tag their repository specifically for this
release... for the SVN guys (drools and jbossws/eviware) just send me
the full URL to your tag. I'll be investigating issues with the jbossws
and cache components tonight to make sure they are building the way they
are supposed to, so the integration build should come tomorrow.

We will be doing a 3.0.4 release in the next week or so - which will be
taken from this branch (it should work, fingers crossed):
https://svn.labs.jboss.com/labs/jbossrules/branches/3.0.x/

Re: [jbosside-dev] Re: SoapUI/JBossWS finally working.. and 1.5 source discussion
by lars@eviware.com
Hi,Thanks for the .classpath fix, Marshall. I looked at JBossIDE-200608041939-nightly-ALL and the soapui plugins are not complete. For instance, soapui-core.jar contains no .class files, only other resources.I don't use JDT or Ant to build the plugins myself, instead, I compile all the Java classes in Eclipse and then pack them together with the Groovy script in the build project. I know that script works.Could you look into this, or is there anything we could do?/Lars >-----Original Message----- >From: Ole Matzura [mailto:ole@eviware.com] >Sent: Sunday, August 6, 2006 12:58 PM >To: jbosside-dev(a)lists.jboss.org >Subject: [jbosside-dev] Re: SoapUI/JBossWS finally working.. and 1.5 source discussion > >Great work Marshall, thanks for your effort.. > >unfortunately there seems to be some problem in the jbossws-plugins.. >they work neither in the all distribution or in the standalone.. we'll >check into it and let you know when its fixed > >regards! > >/Ole >eviware.com > >Marshall Culpepper skrev: >> Hey guys... >> >> After several hours of grueling last night and today I finally got the >> eviware JBossWS feature compiled with the JBossIDE build system. [jbosside-dev] SoapUI/JBossWS finally working.. and 1.5 source discussion
by Marshall Culpepper
Hey guys...
After several hours of grueling last night and today I finally got the
eviware JBossWS feature compiled with the JBossIDE build system. It turns
out the .classpath file of com.eviware.soapui.core wasn't updated to reflect
the Java1.5 source compatibility that was configured in the MANIFEST.MF. I
am going to be committing the new builder into CVS and executing a build
that will notify this list.
At any rate... I wanted to shed light on the fact that this is our
first 1.5plugin meaning that we should probably think about how we
want to
distribute. IMO, it is fair to expect users to have a 1.5 compatible JRE now
that we are over halfway through 2006, but I am willing to hear other
opinions ;). If worse comes to worse, we can ship JBossWS tools seperate as
part of the release, but I am hoping it will not come to that. Right now
JBossWS is our only 1.5 source-level plugin, but webtools 2.0 (which i
assume we will be using in our next release i.e. JBossIDE 2.1 etc) will make
full use of 1.5 source, so it's only a matter of time.....
