Since turning on the stable branch jobs, here's what's borked...

Still trying to get a clean stable_branch aggregate build (and then JBT
builds too) - last time the aggregate failed due to missing Central,
OTDT, and OpenShift (hadn't spun clean yet).

Details:
- hibernate : test failure in org.hibernate.eclipse.console.test
- jbpm : test failure in org.jboss.tools.jbpm.convert.test
- jsf : test failure in org.jboss.tools.jsf.vpe.jsf.test
- maven : 15 bot test failures (same failures in trunk) ... should these
just be turned off and only run locally / manually?
- struts : COMPILE FAILED - upstream bits missing? "The import
org.jboss.tools.jst.web.validation cannot be resolved."

There are also a few jobs for which the latest build failed, but at
least we have one good build since branching. This suggests we're having
some stability issues w/ a few Jenkins slaves, but at least we're
getting clean spins when the server is quiet(er).
= archives : aborted build? [Dec 4 ok]
= birt : failed to find usage bits (poor timing between builds) [Dec 4 ok]
= seam : no more locks failure [Dec 4 ok]

ACTION REQUIRED: JBT 4.3.0.CR1 triage

Hi all,
As you know we have less than 4 weeks before the code freeze for CR1.
And we still have a lot of unresolved issues targeted for CR1: 185
issues in https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE

I know it happens every time we are approaching a release. We just wait
the next code freeze than move all unresolved issues to the next
version. It really doesn't help to see the status of development.
Having a clean JIRA which reflects reality is a very important thing for
such a big team as ours.
So please, give some love to *your component in JIRA* and move
everything which is not blocker/critical for CR1/GA (and you are not
sure if you have time to fix in next 3-4 weeks) out of 4.3.0 scope
*now*. Don't wait for the code freeze or personal ping.
*So, the CR1/Final JIRA should have only:*
- blocker/critical issues
- major/minor issues you are sure you will fix safely during next 3-4 weeks.
If something is blocker/critical but you can't fix it before the code
freeze, please *speak up now*!

CCS intern looking at JBoss Tools

Hello all,
You may remember before Michelle went on leave she mentioned that I was conducting an internship project on creating a Great Getting Started Experience with JBoss Tools. So far things have been running smoothly. I have recently uploaded an overview of the Design Proposal for my software solution to mojo so if anyone is interested in taking a look, perhaps providing some feedback/comments or ideas if you have any, it would be greatly appreciated.
While the framework of the solution is in the works, concurrently while developing I will be looking at the specific content to include within the framework to ensure the user gets the help they need to get started, so any help or suggestions there would be infinitely helpful towards the project.

I recently proposed a project for an intern from a local Brisbane uni and
Blake McIvor has taken up the challenge for the next 12 weeks. The project
he is undertaking is about designing and implementing a 'Getting Started'
(onboarding) experience for software. With JBDS and JBT still close to my
heart, I have proposed that he use JBT as the software for which to design
the onboarding experience. Once he has a design proposal, we'll be back to
get some feedback from the JBDS/JBT team. He's signed up for the JBDS/JBT
mailing lists and joined the irc channels so you will be seeing him about.
I'll let Blake introduce himself:

Uni, Nathan campus. I'm excited to be given the opportunity of a Red Hat
