FYI: Updating to Oxygen.0.RC4a today
by Nick Boldt
Since today is Oxygen.0.RC4a day, I'll be updating the target platforms to
include new versions of Oxygen and WebTools.
Additionally, I will try to also switch our build system over so that it
only produces ONE target platform for BOTH JBT and Devstudio, as per the
request to add sources to the devstudio TP [1]

When this is done (later today or possibly Monday if I hit any problems)
I'll announce the changes so we can all make sure the builds stay green.

[ASTools] Considering removing some toolbars

Hi all:
Some actions in the toolbar that have existed for a very long time but
seem to be barely used are being considered for removal.

Include sources in JBDS target platform

Hi,
we are maintaining target platforms for JBT [1] and for JBDS [2]
separatelly. The only difference is that TP for JBT includes sources but TP
for JBDS doesn't. Consequently, JBT users can install plugins including
sources but JBDS users can't. In my opinion both should have sources.

If we decide to add sources to JBDS TP, we'd be able to drop one of the TPs

If not, do we need to maintain target platforms separately?

QE Rejection for JBT 4.5.0.AM1 release - master branch is unfrozen

Hi,
JBoss Tools 4.5.0.AM1 build doesn't meet our release criteria. There is an
unresolved blocking bug: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-24530
preventing us releasing on time in the current sprint (#132).
The plan going forward is to release AM1 as part of the next sprint.
The master branch is no longer frozen.

JBoss Tools 4.5.0.AM1 delayed

JBoss Tools 4.5.0.AM1 was initially to be released today but some late
changes to Oxygen.M7 cause the Red Hat Central feature to be unusable (
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-24530)
So we decided to delay the release to the next cycle (ie June 27th).
As a consequence, there will be no AM3 release.

has been updated a few times this week as part of JBIDE-23317.
