We can include more than one version of Mockito in the JBT TP, and have different projects depend on different versions. (Sorta like we could do w/ org.junit4 4.8 vs. org.junit 4.11, if that became necessary.)
But yes, we can certainly omit anything from the TP. I added it to the Alpha4-SNAPSHOT TP today [1] in prep for the upcoming Kepler M7 release, but it can certainly be removed again.

> Since all JBoss Eclipse-based project probably share some needs for usual libraries, we should create a JBoss Tools Orbit project in which one we would provide those 3rd-party dependencies packaged as OSGi Bundle in a p2 repository.
> In a first time, we could simply create some OSGi "wrappers" around those jars.

> Pascal from p2 on eclipse side is working on p2 remediation UI and have asked if we got two icons for < and > (bigger than and less than).
> See the screenshot for where they would be used (basically in the tree to indicate which are being down or upgraded.
> Daniel could you make such that can be shown nicely in a treeviewer ?
> I think having a v and ^ to show up and down might be better.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-2534) JBDS70_0311: [Commit] (Dev) (P2) Marketplace - simplify delivery
by Michelle Murray (JIRA)
Michelle Murray commented on JBDS-2534:
---------------------------------------
Adding Nick's email to jbds-pm-list for completeness:
Please discuss and decide which course of action we are to follow here.
I followed what was described in the PRD JIRA below [0], but now it seems Max wants a second Marketplace entry for JBT after all.
If the goal was to reduce the number of marketplace entries so that our install/download numbers would not be split across two Marketplace entries, then we need to have only 1 entry, not 2.
However, as Max points out in the JIRA below, this means that incubating stuff in JBT (which has not yet been put in JBDS) such as LiveReload or Arquillian can only be installed from a zip or update site [1], not discovered via the Marketplace.
[0] https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2534
[1] http://www.jboss.org/tools/download/dev/4_1
I suppose we could consider having a Marketplace entry for "JBoss Tools Incubator" or "JBoss Developer Studio Tech Previews" and into THAT connector, we could put things like LiveReload and Arquillian.
