Well, this is what comes from the wildfly distribution zip, perhaps the
files in there should already be marked as executable (assuming that's
doable..?) ?
Depends how the wildfly distribution zip is generated ... I downloaded and unzipped
several archives and scripts were executable.
For example Maven zip -
http://www.eng.lsu.edu/mirrors/apache/maven/maven-3/3.2.3/binaries/apache...
