yes, it is the same. And yes, it affects numbers as well. Please
update the description! Also, I think Ed´s comment about the
INTERPRET_EMPTY_STRING_SUBMITTED_VALUES_AS_NULL parameter is not
related to this bug - at least AFAI can see.
