Ian Springer commented on RF-3878:
----------------------------------
Sure, I have the heap dump still. It's about 1GB though. Do you have an ftp site I can
upload it to?
The application used to reproduce the issue was JON 2.3.1.GA, and the repro steps were to
have 11 or 12 people login to the JON instance at the same time and click around the app
for 10-15 minutes, particularly trying to exercise parts of the GUI that use a lot of
AJAX, such as the left navigation Resource tree.
Session memory leak

Key: RF-3878
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-3878
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 3.2.0.SR1
Reporter: Dmitri Voronov
Assignee: Nick Belaevski
Fix For: 3.3.0
AjaxStateHolder saves all views in the session. But the same view can occur several times
in this "cache"; the views from this "cache" are not reused and just
fill the session. If an application has many large views and deals with many concurrent
sessions, the heap can easily grow up to Gigabytes(!)
