There is probably a workaround by setting the activeItem attribute which is bind to a
backing bean. Each time, the current tab is deleted, you set the attribute to the tab you
want. However, some other problems seem appear as the tabPanel does not respond to the
mouse click anymore....
Dynamically created tabs within tabPanel causes NPE in

When set switchType on TabPanel to "server" (notice that with
"client" everything works correctly, with "ajax" tab switch not work
as well as with "null"), all dynamically created tabs causes NPE on tab switch.
