In 3.3.1.CR2 behaviour some different:
# Open page with editor in richfaces-demo under Safari
# Switch to advanced mode
# Switch to simple mode again
Result: editor does not disappear but it is not functional.
Editor disappears from page in richfaces-demo under Safari after
rerender.
