Karsten Wutzke commented on RF-12279:
-------------------------------------
I totally agree with that one. Using Tomahawk works, but having a simple component that
doesn't require a complete additional library is much beter. Furthermore the text
input and buttons don't automatically get the skin-dependent RF look.
Add simple file upload
----------------------
Key: RF-12279
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-12279
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: component-input
Affects Versions: 4.Future
Reporter: Anthony O.
Today, if I use JBoss 7 + RichFaces 4, I don't have any component I could use to
simply add an input type file to a form, like
[
t:inputFileUpload|http://myfaces.apache.org/tomahawk-project/tomahawk20/t...].
See [that thread on JBoss Community
forums|https://community.jboss.org/thread/195637].
The problem is that it seems to difficult to use both RichFaces & Tomahawk libraries
at the same time.
So could it be possible to add a {{rich:simpleFileUpload}} for example or an attribute in
{{rich:fileUpload}} which we could use to make it simple.
Actually, if I use {{<rich:fileUpload listHeight="1"
maxFilesQuantity="1">}} I must add a file with browse, *then* click on
"Add" which is not really simple to understand (nor a web best practice) for
users.
