My workaround for the negative case is to throw an exception in upload listener. Negative
case could be the violation of total upload size if file is too big. This will force an
"upload.transferError" and messages will be displayed. But I have no workaround
for the positive case.

Using his code in demosite listener I'm getting next behaviour.
"Transfer error occuried" error in file upload status.
But rich:messages which added to the page doesn't show anything.
