This is because of a certain problem I've faced which I think others might come across during development. I'm having to render rich:resursiveTreeAdaptor within a rich:panel as a sidebar in my application. Unfortunately some of the nodes have very long names, and therefore they extend beyond the borders of the sidebar into the main body and i bet you it doesn't look nice.
