The final form will produce an encountered sequence containing the preceding 3 tokens, the
error token highlighted by [*], and 2 trailing tokens. This is assuming that we're
able to determine the preceding from the token history.
The expected list for a non-lexical error will be condensed to the longest matching token
chain and we'll go further to collapse <ID> and nonReserved identifiers into
just id. It would be nice to replace all large token expansions with their rule name, but
we don't have that ability easily.
