The last automated comment reflects that MODE-1461 now only deals with ModeShape 3.0
(e.g., 'master' branch), and not longer affects 2.x.
Since there's no work to be done for 2.x, can we resolve this issue?

To build against a 1.7 VM without retarging to a 1.6 runtime for the Java libraries
requires that we update our JDBC logic to add missing methods. Most will likely still not
be supported and will throw a SQLFeatureUnsupported exception where appropriate.
