Steve Hawkins resolved TEIID-1150.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Done
Added support for parsing named parameters using name=>value. We'll still accept
name=value to stay compatible with Teiid 7.0 and have documented in the release notes how
to specify comparison criteria as a boolean value expression.
Introduce alternative named parameter syntax
--------------------------------------------
Key: TEIID-1150
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-1150
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Quality Risk
Components: Query Engine
Affects Versions: 7.1
Reporter: Steve Hawkins
Assignee: Steve Hawkins
Fix For: 7.1
Our named procedure syntax is ambiguous with the SQL spec notion of a boolean value
expression. We should use something like the oracle syntax name=>value rather than
name=value.
We would still leave the old syntax in place, but deprecated, until Teiid 8.0
