Steven Hawkins commented on TEIID-1019:
---------------------------------------
I'm not sure I understand the request. Auto staging is on by default and uses costing
to determine if we should stage. If you don't want something automatically staged,
then you can add an option nocache class that optionally specifies the mapping classes
that you don't want auto staged.
I wasn't aware that you could even set the cardinality of a mapping class. Do they
want an explicit way to auto-stage? We currently consider that a manual exercise by
adding explicit staging tables in designer.
Request ability to turn on/off Auto Staging tables

Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Server, XML Planner/Processor
Reporter: Debbie Steigner
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Fix For: 7.0
Please add the ability to turn on/off Auto Staging tables. Setting the Cardinality to 0
is not always a workaround if the customer wants the cardinality set for better query
planning on other models.
