Steven Hawkins commented on TEIID-2012:
---------------------------------------
It's not really regressing as this is not related to processing logic and you will
need you're own language objects at some point. If you don't want to construct
the object form, the simplest workaround that doesn't require any changes on our side
would be to append new ElementSymbol(name).toString() and the same for from clause names.
Aliases would need to be run through escapeSinglePart, etc.
Errors in Column Name Validation
---------------------------------
Key: TEIID-2012
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2012
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 7.7
Reporter: Ted Jones
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Fix For: 7.7.1
When generating columns names in Designer with ":" in them, a parse error is
thrown in the transformation. Also, using the keyword "value" in a
transformation for a column name errors until "" are added to it. The
"" should be added by the Teiid validator.
