I see that ReentrantLock was used between thread which was requesting the connection (A)
and the thread which is deploying the VDB (B). In VDBRepository I think I see B may be
waiting out for timeout by A, thus may be this confusion.

Hi,
In Teiid 7.7.1 we are trying to get the connection from datasource. If the connection is
made to a inactive vdb then processing freezes at getConnection(). If connection is made
to a active vdb then processing continues.
The relevant code is TeiidDataSource.getConnection(). Please resolve.
