can explain more, as I don't understand exactly why.
Not really a problem.
Just over-head, as we would either have to
- change how we handle jar/war structure --> adding root as possible
metadata path
- add custom webbeans structure deployer: found web-beans.xml --> add
root as path, ...
Putting it into META-INF/WEB-INF is a lot more friendlier and
consistent. ;-)
