Are you using Weld 1.0.1 - I fixed this there IIRC. Ah, I see the problem, you are calling ip.*getAnnotated* - this (IMO correctly) does not reflect the qualifiers applied via select(), but the annotated object. Use ip.getQualifiers() instead.
