For an entity that inherits @Id from a @MappedSuperclass field this silently overrode the natural field-access detection: relationship annotations on fields (e.g. @OneToMany) became invisible to the binder and boot failed in JDBC-type resolution with MappingException: Basic collection has element type 'Child' which is not a known basic type (attribute is not annotated '@ElementCollection', '@OneToMany', or '@ManyToMany') Only stamp @Access in override mode when the access type was explicitly supplied (entity / entity-mappings access attribute or PU-defaults <access>). Keep the fallback chain for internal XML attribute processing. This mirrors the existing behavior of processMappedSuperclassMetadata.
