I'm having trouble getting session replication to work on CR1. With a setup similar to what Paul demonstrated in the clustering video (two servers, each bound to a local interface), when I set a session attribute on server A, I get this on server B: https://gist.github.com/1076329 Even though that trace refers to some torquebox modules, I get the exact same error when I use the standalone-ha.xml configs in the dist. Anyone seen this or have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks, Jim

Intended deployemnt behavior?

Maybe I'm just not supposed to do it this way but: 1) I deployed a bad war, bot a deployment error 2) I fixed the problem, re-copied the war to the deployments directory 3) The war deployment was skipped on restart (I'm guessing because there is a mywar.war.failed file in the deploy directory. Is this intended behavior? Seems like it could cause a lot of problems. In the minimum, AS7 should check to see if the date of the .failed or .deployed file is older than the actual deployment file. Another potential blocker for openshift

An issue I just ran into when testing 7.0.0.CR1 with the openshift framework is: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-1225 jboss-admin.sh fails to exit when run in single command mode This seems to be new behavior as of CR1, but it basically breaks frameworks that are attempting to use the CLI to control the server. I can work around this by running the command in a background, but then there is no valid exit status being returned. hen the CLI is running in non-interactive mode, it needs to exit on completion of the commands it is executing with some exit status.

Jboss7 modular jsf application

Hi, We are trying to build a modular jsf application. The application consists of a war file and several jar files. Each jar file contains .xhtml pages , associated beans and configuration files like faces-config.xml, web-fragment.xml and pretty-config.xml . The jar files are deployed independently of the war file. Also, they are declared as dependencies in the war's jboss-deployment-structure.xml. However, the pretty-faces mappings which are declared in the jar's pretty-config.xml are getting ignored. Also, the named beans that are located inside the jars resolve always to null (the jar file includes a beans.xml). In jboss6 we did not had the above issues, although the jars were not scanned for JSF annotations and the FacesContext seemed to be null. Is it possible to deploy an application with the above configuration in jboss7? I would appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

jboss-admin related question

Hi, I have a scenario like this : (1) I start the standalone mode with the standard standalone.xml (i.e web profile no messaging etc.) (2) I connect to server using jboss-admin. (3) I type help on jboss-admin console and get to see commands like add-jms-topic etc. (4) try executing add-jms-queue command and get the error : "No handler ..." My question : shouldn't jboss-admin query the server for available subsystems and then show the available commands to the user, rather showing a hard coded list of commands to the user? Thx Vimal
