PersistenceUnitDeployer.addDependencies assumes that the default persistence properties
are always specified:
Map<String, String> metadataProps = metaData.getProperties();
props.putAll(metadataProps);
Change to:
Map<String, String> metadataProps = metaData.getProperties() != null
? metaData.getProperties()
: new HashMap<String, String>();
props.putAll(metadataProps);
