Brian Stansberry commented on JBCACHE-1119:
-------------------------------------------
I won't be offended in the least if this JIRA is rejected. IMHO chasing the endless
chain of compiler warnings that generics forces on code is far and away a bigger problem
than the rare problems use of generics solves. :-) But, since we're already
pregnant...
Genericize notification events
------------------------------
Key: JBCACHE-1119
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-1119
Project: JBoss Cache
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Reporter: Brian Stansberry
Assigned To: Manik Surtani
Priority: Minor
The org.jboss.cache.notifications.event classes/interfaces are not genericized. Therefore
you get compiler warning when you try to use an Fqn retrieved via getFqn().
