I've just merged all the commits (bug fixes) to master into test/java9-jigsaw branch.
The only problem of test/java9-jigsaw is the code refers to a class available only in Java 9.
So maven build will fail if the compiler is not Java 9's.
I will release the head of master branch as release 3.21.0-GA and also test/java9-jigsaw branch
as maybe 3.22.0-CR1 (or 3.22.0-Java9-CR1 for clarification? Which naming scheme is appropriate?).

After thinking more about your questions, I would like to release a javassist for Java9 EA, so that other projects like Hibernate can consume that. It would be good if this javassist release is marked CR1 or something like that, to reflect that its for JDK9 EA (e.g. not certain to work with JDK9 final).
If we also release 3.21.0 for the master branch soon, that also sounds good to me.
