Florian Grandel commented on JBBUILD-433:
-----------------------------------------
I have tried to rename from .../buildfragments/... to .../buildmagic/... as the
corresponding directory below tools obviously has been renamed. But even then build fails.
One of the include files in build.xml is missing:
.../buildmagic/tools/etc/buildmagic/defaults.ent could not be found
I have looked in the cvs. The file seems to be completely deleted from cvs, it doesn't
even appear as a "dead" file.
Is this project still being developed or is it just stale?
There seems to be a working code snapshot of buildmagic at
www.jpackage.org: see
http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/jpackage/1.7/generic/free/SRPMS/jboss4-buildmag...
Should we reconstruct the project from there?
buildmagic cannot be built at all

Key: JBBUILD-433
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBBUILD-433
Project: JBoss Build System
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Torsten Werner
Assigned To: Paul Gier
Fix For: JBossBuild - Maint 2008
I have checked out the buildmagic module from CVS but when I run ant in directory tasks I
get an error:
Buildfile: build.xml
/home/twerner/debian/build-area/libjboss-build-java-20071201/buildmagic/tools/etc/buildfragments/buildmagic.ent
could not be found
BUILD FAILED
java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/home/twerner/debian/build-area/libjboss-build-java-20071201/buildmagic/tools/etc/buildfragments/buildmagic.ent
(No such file or directory)
There is no directory buildfragments. When I run ./build.sh it is even more strange:
build.sh: *ERROR* The target executable does not exist:
build.sh:
build.sh:
/home/twerner/debian/Build-area/libjboss-build-java-20071201/buildmagic/tools/bin/build.sh
build.sh:
build.sh: Please make sure you have checked out the 'tools' module
build.sh: and make sure it is up to date.
I have checked out the tools module but it does not ship a file 'build.sh'.
Cheers,
Torsten
