Please note, as of the version of JBoss Metadata shipped with JBoss 5.1.0.GA:
You see this 'JBMETA-4' warning (and your annotated beans do not properly deploy)
if you forget to put proper namespaces on the ejb-jar.xml. It should be...
<ejb-jar version="3.0"
xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee
