Does straight dependency mean a jar which users can add to their classpath (even where
maven isn't involved)? That would be pretty useful, like the 4.x versions of
jbossall-client.jar (ofcourse a better assembled version of it).

These to encompass all user-facing APIs in one shared artifact and POM. First we must
determine where these are independently housed, then reassemble for easy consumption both
from Maven and as a straight dependency.
