Resolution: Won't Fix
There is no intention of fixing this for the JBossAS 4.x series (btw, this is a JBAS issue
not a JBJMX issue), because it requires a major redesign.
It should be fixed for JBoss 5, or if it isn't we can try to address it there, because
the new MicroContainer has a much better view of the deployment details and dependencies.

The suggested work around for the NullPointerException reported in JBJMX-101 is a bit of
a cop-out and disregards the often quite complex deployment environments in which we often
find ourselves where communicating such a around is neither trivial or professional
looking.
Can we reassess the original response with a view to perhaps fixing the issue?
