Jeff Mesnil reopened AS7-3288:
------------------------------
I am reopening this issue because the category attribute is required by the add operation.
While working on another issue, I changed the OperationValidator to check that required
attributes are really defined (instead of just checking if their names exist).
This breaks with the logger add operation since the category attribute is required. Would
it be acceptable to flag it as nillable instead?
Logger add operation still shows "category" attribute in
:read-operation-description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-3288
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3288
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Logging
Affects Versions: 7.1.0.CR1b
Reporter: Stan Silvert
Assignee: James Perkins
I think we eliminated the "category" parameter as redundant? It still shows up
when you do a :read-operation-description
/subsystem=logging/logger=bogus/:read-operation-description(name=add)
Specifying the category on an add operation seems to have no effect.
