Tristan Tarrant updated AS7-3023:
---------------------------------
Summary: Move topology information to JGroups subsystem (was: MuxChannel
should generate addresses which implement TopologyUUID)
Fix Version/s: 7.1.0.Final
(was: 7.1.0.CR1)
Git Pull Request: (was:
https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/pull/896)
Description: In order to support topology aware clusters, the addresses generated
by MuxChannel must be of type TopologyUUID, otherwise Infinispan cannot compare address
topology (this currently generates a ClassCastException). Also topology must be set before
the channel is started. For this reason the topology tuple (site, rack, machine) should be
set at the jgroups subsystem transport configuration and the Infinispan subsystem should
merely retrieve it from there. (was: In order to support topology aware clusters, the
addresses generated by MuxChannel must be of type TopologyUUID, even if the topology
information is left blank, otherwise Infinispan cannot compare address topology (this
currently generates a ClassCastException))
