Mail sent to foo.jboss.org might masquarade as jboss.org. Thus I might configure my mail client to go to foo.jboss.org but when foo.jboss.org connects to another host to relay it might do so as jboss.org. Users might put @jboss.org and the local mail server might change that to @foo.jboss.org only to relay them to another server that changes it back to @jboss.org and so forth.
