Jim Tyrrell commented on AS7-2350:
----------------------------------
But shouldn't there be ways to edit view the settings in it, or are the
"hidden" in some of the other metaphors that are in the current console? I
would think the values of the host.xml need to be exposed somehow, or am I just missing
something. Please help me understand why host settings should not be exposed in the
console...
For example the hosts, IP address, management port, creating serves, ie related to the
cloning comment earlier....I do not think we can discount host file "editing" in
spirit, but I of course do agree we should be editing XML in the console, but values need
to be exposed.
Web Console: No way to edit or view the host configuration files

Key: AS7-2350
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-2350
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Console
Reporter: Jim Tyrrell
Assignee: Heiko Braun
Labels: eap6-ux
Seems like this should be available and this is a way to create new server
instances...maybe..but there are a ton of settings in the host.xml file that do not seem
to be viewable.
