Brian Stansberry commented on AS7-3426:
---------------------------------------
There is no easy fix. I don't really consider it to be a bug, although if we can think
of something clever that's great.
It's a result of the fact that different datasources can have different metrics,
depending on the vendor. So the datasource=* registration is generic. Once an actual
datasource is deployed, a datasource=whatever registration is created with child
registrations for stats=jdbc and stats=pool.
Duplicate resource descriptions when using wildcards

Key: AS7-3426
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3426
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JCA
Reporter: Heiko Braun
Assignee: Stefano Maestri
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 7.1.0.Final
The datasource subsystem returns duplicate resource descriptions for a call like this:
/subsystem=datasources/data-source=*:read-resource-description
It used to return a single resource description. Now it returns one for each datasource
declared
