hmmm...we now got a whopping 7 issues marked as new_and_noteworthy for
beta1.

Something tells me that is not a correct list (mostly because I tagged 6
out of these 7 :)
I would appreciate if you collect the issues that are new and noteworthy
and tag them with new_and_noteworthy;
or send the list to the mailing list like last time.
We should have this list and the related docs ready middle of next week
for the release - so please take a look as soon as possible.

While you are checking of issues for the beta please mark the ones you
find new and noteworthy with the "new_and_noteworthy" tag.
Makes it much easier to do the release and noteworthy notes ;)
