The "org.eclipse.ui.views.properties.tabbed.propertyContributor"
extension point is used by the Project Explorer. It is intgerated with
the Common Navigator.
In my opinion, it is a good feature, but, probably, too late for GA.

No you shouldn't. This is a problem with Common Navigator where it
expects a specific implementation / extension of property sheet, which
I do not care to provide. However creating one generic property sheet
for JBoss Servers View would not be the correct solution, as the JBSV
is implemented in Common Navigator Framework.
Unless the property sheet you provide can be linked / extended via an
extension point that integrates with common navigator via their
extension points, I do not recommend providing a property sheet here.
In fact I intend one day to make such a property sheet to override the
stupid one CNF is currently using. The ideal property page you
contribute would be contributed upstream to the CNF framework and live
inside that framework.
