Forwarding to jbpm-dev list as users list is not being monitored.

Hi Gabor - that looks impressive and useful for the community. I'd be
happy to work with you to incorporate this functionality into the
Designer codebase and promote you as community contributor for jBPM.
Let's chat on IRC (#jbpm or #jbpmdev on irc.freenode.net).

5.4.0.CR1
by Michael Anstis
Hi,
I have deployed jBPM 5.4.0.CR1 to Nexus.
Could you please update JBPM's JIRA as required.
As with 5.4.0.Beta1 I have not done anything with jbpm-form-builder or
jbpm-designer as you wanted to handle them internally.
With kind regards,
Mike

We set up a job for Designer when it was ported to the droolsjbpm repo.

Jenkins Jobs
by Michael Anstis
Hi,
dpalmer (#jbosssoa) was asking whether Jenkins jobs are needed for the
following (for jBPM 5.4.x):-
- jbpm-designer
- jbpm-persistence-db-matrix
- jbpmmigration
Please advise.
Cheers,

Drools and jBPM 5.5.x branches have been created
by Michael Anstis
Hi,
Just a note to you all to advise that the 5.5.x branches have been made on
github and Jenkins jobs setup accordingly.
Should you make changes to master that are needed for 5.5.x please be sure
to cherry-pick...
There are a couple of remaining tasks:-
- jBPM Form Builder - Needs branching and POM's updated.
- jBPM Designer - Needs branching, POM's updated and Jenkins job
https://jenkins.mw.lab.eng.bos.redhat.com/hudson/view/Drools%20jBPM/job/g...
to build jBPM Designer 5.5.x.
- jBPM contains properties overriding the Drools version in
droolsjbpm-parent POM. I suspect these need changing in master to point to
6.0.0-SNAPSHOT.
The jBPM Team wanted to handle these changes for 5.5.0.Beta1 so I have
assumed the same for the branch.
With kind regards,
Mike

Re: [jbpm-dev] [rules-dev] POM changes for AS7.1.2 BOM
by Michael Anstis
Does anybody know of any incompatibilities between 7.1.1 and 7.1.2?
We had various issues between 7.0.2 and 7.1.1. It would be awkward to have
poms changed to target a BOM we can't launch (the community edition)
against if they are not 100% compatible.
Assuming they are compatible we have to assume we have to target AS7.1.1
(at minimum) and any issues encountered with 7.0.2 have to be banished to
history.
With kind regards,
Mike

POM changes for AS7.1.2 BOM
by Michael Anstis
Hello,
FYI, dpalmer has been recently submitting PRs (and later pushing direct) to
move our POMs to mirror the AS7.1.2 BOM.
This being news to me I thought it advisable to inform that those of us
needing to test with AS should probably target the same; i.e. 7.1.2.
We have had numerous cross-compatibility issues in the past with 7.0.2 and
7.1.1 and trying for 7.0.2, 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 could be quite difficult.
Personally, it'd have been nice if somebody told us of the impending risk
before the pom changes were made. Fortunately I had already taken a local
copy of github for 5.5.0.Beta1.
Perhaps there was a lack of communication somewhere? IDK.
Cheers,
Mike
