Ed, we have proposal for two issues that are important for interoperability: https://javaserverfaces-spec-public.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=658 and https://javaserverfaces-spec-public.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=678 Richfaces has workarounds for them, and, as I know, IceFaces/PrimeFaces do the same so our libraries become incompatible.
