For a truly RESTful solution that will provide much more capabilities, it seems like a separate web app, let's call it TEIID-REST, is required. This will allow for GETs to get all VDBs with links to drill-down into tables, procedures, etc. and could potentially generate forms for submitting procedures. It would support only JNDI connections so that we can determine the VDB and other connection information via a segment in the URL.
