There were really two issues here. 1 was a simple fix to resolving, the other was more
involved and involved insuring that the external contexts were used during parameter
evaluation before switching over to the procedure's temptablestore
subquery as input to procedure fails

A subquery as an input to a procedure (exec) will fail because it is never resolved.
Also within the scope of a procedure something like:
select e1 into #t1 from pm1.g1;
select e2 from (exec pm1.sq2((select max(e1) from #t1))) x;
will fail since the temp table store is not known inside the procedure plan that is
evaluating the input parameters.
